Rob has been the Head Coach of Curling Canada’s National Training Centre in Edmonton since 2007. He has been a member of the Canadian coaching staff at many international events, including the 2010 Winter Olympics, 4 World Championships, and 2 World University Games. This innovative athlete development system integrates camp, club, and school programming to provide thousands of young athletes with high quality opportunities across 15 different sports.

Rob has recently taken on a new role as the Excel Program Director with Curling Alberta, where his mandate is to ensure that Alberta remains at the top of the curling world by systematically developing our next generation of elite athletes and coaches. He is also heavily involved in the re-design of Curling Canada’s LTAD and coach education frameworks.
